New Music Biennial 2014 composer becomes BBC Concert Orchestra Composer in Residence

Huge congratulations to New Music Biennial 2014 composer Dobrinka Tabakova as it has been announced that she will be the BBC Concert Orchestra’s new Composer in Residence.

Dobrinka will work with the orchestra for three years, with her first commission being premiered at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall in the orchestra’s 2018-19 season.  She will also participate in the artistic planning and direction of the orchestra’s concerts, recordings and learning projects.

The new role will also include three orchestral commissions from BBC Radio 3 for the BBC Concert Orchestra.
